Sean Paul, Kris Kelli and Bounty Killer Nominated For UK MP3 Awards

MP3 Music Awards (MMA) have announced their nominees for 2009. With a host of top acts such as Katy Perry, Black Eye Peas and Lady Gaga for the Radio Chart Downloads category. Souljah Boy, Busta Rhymes and R. Kelly for the Hip-Hop, R&B category. Other nominees in various categories include Keri Hilson, Britney Spears and Beyonce.
Three Caribbean artists have qualified for the Reggae, Dub, Ska category, namely Kris Kelli for Kotch Aroun, Bounty Killer for War Bridge and Sean Paul for So Fine. The general public can now cast their votes by calling designated numbers or online via www.mp3musicawards.co.uk
The MP3 Music Awards event is scheduled for the 5th December 09. Guest performers and personalities include the 2009 MMA winners and M$NEY who is featured on Timbaland's Shockwave album. The UK guest list is still awaiting confirmation.
Now moving into it's 3rd successive year the MMA is designed to award and support the best acts as well as the best mp3 players and mp3 retailers. MMA provides a major platform for mp3 manufactures, mp3 retailers and artists/ bands from around the world to showcase their musical skills and creative writing abilities in front of a live audience and major industry executives, whilst introducing new media products to young consumers aged 16 and over.
